Slurgs are the lowest form of life on Oddworld. They feed off the waste of other creatures. They mostly can be found in the vicinity of Fleeches.

Although Slurgs are a non-violent creature, they tend to get underfoot of anyone who is around. When stepped on their gaseous bodies emit a high pitched squeak which will notify a Fleech that someone is around. Abe's Exoddus: Slurgs will not harm you, but watch out for them as they will warn nearby Fleeches that you are around. You cannot even sneak past a Slurg. You will nearly always find Slurgs where you find Fleeches.
