Stranger's Wrath Gameplay
Stranger's Wrath is designed to give the player variety and freedom. With choices between Stealth, Action, 3rd Person, and 1st Person gameplay…you have the choice. You pick which outlaws to go after. You decide if you want to bring them in alive, or dead. Whatever the situation, you play your way. And with different ways to tackle almost every situation, the game is sure to have great replay value.

Stealth and Action
Take advantage of tall grass, hiding you from enemy sight, and pick out your favorite Stealth oriented Live Ammo for a silent way of capturing outlaws. Or, if you like being a badass, run into the open with guns blazing and enjoy long…challenging shoot-outs. Each method of play is available to the gamer at all times.

3rd and 1st Person Gameplay
1st Person gameplay is the perspective you use for shooting Stranger's crossbow. During this view, your character moves at a steady 15 MPH. The controls for this have been described as "Halo-like," which is a good thing.

3rd Person view allows you to get a pulled back look of your surroundings, making it a lot easier to spot, and keep track of, where enemies are. And, in Third-Person you can literally get on all fours and gallop to a top speed of 55MPH! When traveling at top speeds, the control mechanic changes to how one might feel controlling a motorcycle. Also, when in 3rd Person perspective, you are able to ram and use melee moves.

Now the key here is to use both of these perspectives to your advantage. However, Abe Babe was able to play the first level of the game using only melee moves in 3rd Person. Ultimately, it comes down to your style of play.

Alive or Dead
Every outlaw has different value for Alive and Dead. Alive yielding more money for you. Not only does this sound morally good on paper, bringing in outlaws Alive offers much more of a challenge. Still, the choice of whether you bring in your bounties Alive or Dead is up to you. If you like, you can gather a mix of Alive and Dead. You're the boss.
