• See if you can go down ledges and behind barrels/rocks in order to find hidden areas. Hidden areas will always contain Mudokons to rescue.
• Look in shadows. There may be a door or Mudokon hiding there.
• Rescue at least 50 Mudokons for the good ending.
• If you need to open an Abe portal and a sensor is on the screen, try going to the edge of the screen, chant for a second, and quickly go off the screen. This should avoid you being zapped and losing rocks.
• Use enemies to your advantage. Lead a Scrab to another Scrab to eliminate it. Possess Sligs to shoot other Sligs.
• Whatever you do, don't back a Paramite up against a wall.
• Listen carefully to native Mudokons who require you to complete a whistle puzzle to pass. Usually the whistle sequence will contain the same as the previous puzzle, but with a couple of extra whistles added at the end.
• As this game doesn't include the Quicksave feature, if you are killed you will go back to the start of the level. Ensure you remember how to solve earlier puzzles so you can easily re-do them again.

  During the game press and hold R1 press triangle, up, circle, left, X, down, square and right. Voice puzzles can be solved with a single sound.
